Pudelfest Festbier is a golden Oktoberfest lager brewed at a festive 6.4% ABV with 28 EBU of measured bitterness. Medium-bodied and grainy, it leans on bready, biscuity malt rather than sweetness, finishing clean, balanced, and dangerously drinkable for its strength.
Decoction mashed the long way round, because the depth of that malt character has to be earned. Magnum handles the bittering and Hallertau Mittelfrüh does the talking on top — gently herbal, gently floral, and entirely at home in a Festbier that knows its heritage.
Serve in a full liter Maßkrug. Anything less is an insult to the poodle.
